Nancy June Voss passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on August 23, 1943, to Scotty and June (Wilmes) Scott.
On January 3, 1964, Nancy married her love, Bill Voss. Together they built a life centered on family and were blessed with two daughters, who brought Nancy immense pride and joy.
Nancy devoted more than 35 years of her career to Jewel-Osco, where she took great pride in her work and later enjoyed a well-deserved retirement.
As the cherished matriarch of her family, Nancy opened her home for countless holidays and celebrations, creating lasting memories for those she loved. She was the heart of her family—offering unwavering love, guidance, and support. While she formed meaningful connections with many, her family remained her greatest joy.
Nancy also had a love for travel and adventure. She proudly visited all 50 states and treasured a memorable trip to England. Among her favorite experiences were her visits to Phoenix, Arizona, where she enjoyed attending Chicago Cubs spring training games.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Kathy (Gary) LeVine and Heidi Voss; granddaughter, Morgan Westburg; and siblings, John (Sally) Scott, Bob (Nancy) Scott, and Sue (Bob) Mumper. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jim and Bruce Scott.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
