Yolanda Seggiaro, 97, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Kenosha, WI, on February 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale “Charlie” and Concetta (Ruffolo) Salituro. She attended Lincoln Elementary and Junior High and graduated from Bradford High School in 1948.
Yolanda was employed as a brazier for LeBlanc for 31 years until her retirement in 1994. She cherished her years spent there as she made many wonderful friendships.
Yolanda was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, and the Kenosha Senior Center. Yolanda loved family, especially being a mother and Grandma LaLa. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and gathering with family for homemade dinners, birthdays, and holidays. Yolanda loved her Cousins’ Club, which began with Friday night shopping and, over the years, became cherished birthday lunches.
Yolanda also enjoyed making ceramics at the Senior Center and relaxing while watching her favorite television shows. She treasured baking her delicious banana bread and lemon meringue pie to share with others. She loved to tell jokes and was always very thoughtful and generous, sending cards and giving gifts to her loved ones.
Yolanda is survived by her son, Joseph Seggiaro; two granddaughters, Deanna Garcia and Melissa (Rob) Twigg; five great grandchildren, Hannah (Robby), Tyler, Jacob, Seth (Ciera), and Cameron (Theodosia); five great-great grandchildren, Adalyn, Oliver, Evalena, Mason, and Bennett; her sister, Josephine “Josie” Cairo; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, John Seggiaro, Jr.; two siblings in infancy, Robert and Helen Salituro; her brother, Armando Salituro; her brother-in-law, Ronald Cairo; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Salituro.
A visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 9:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. concluding with the reading of her eulogy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
