1943 ∼ 2026

Randall Creed Frye

Randall Creed Frye, 83 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 1, 1943, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Walter Creed and Mary (Gatrel) Frye. Randall proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1963. Serving his country was something he took great pleasure in and was honored to do so. Upon his return home, he attended Gateway Technical College (formerly Kenosha Technical Institute) receiving his associate’s degree in business administration & retail marketing in 1967. While attending Gateway, Randy met the love of his life, Rita Ruth Spiegelhoff. They got married on October 26, 1968, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Kenosha, WI.

Randall started his career working for Marshall Field & Company in Chicago. He then took to the road working in sales traveling around the Midwest. In 1971, with an infant at home, Randy shifted gears and found his true calling at American Motors Corporation (later known as Chrysler). He worked his way up the ladder, earning his place as a supervisor. Randy was dedicated to his work and loved to share stories of his time in the factory. He was then promoted to Quality Control Manager of the Piston Division. After 30 years of service, he retired from Chrysler in 2001.

Randall was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was very involved at St. Mary’s during the 1980’s, serving on the Parish Council, the Athletic Association, and the Festival Committee. He also coached many of the sports teams that his children played on while attending St. Mary Catholic School.

Randy and his wife Rita cherished the years playing in their ‘Card Club.’ You could find them at a card table with their dear friends playing Sheepshead and Euchre. They played in couples’ bowling leagues and later found their love for the game of tennis, joining LeBeau’s Kenosha Towne Club and Eastside Tennis & Fitness. He also loved all things sports, Packers, Brewers and Bucks.

Above all else, Randy loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. From coaching his kids, cheering on his grandkids, he always showed up. Our world was a better place because he was simply the best.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rita; three children, Caroline Rae (David) Schulte, Christopher Lyle Frye, and Rebecca Jo (Bryon) Kozak; grandchildren, Megan Rae Schulte, Matthew Christopher Schulte, Camryn Michelle Kozak, Dylan Creed Kozak, and Mia Jo Kozak; and a sister-in-law, Leora Frye. Also survived by sisters-in-law Lois Spiegelhoff, Joyce Spiegelhoff, Pat Spiegelhoff, Elena Spiegelhoff and brother-in-law Norman Spiegelhoff and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by brothers, Larry (Audrey) Frye, Lyle Frye, and Lonny Frye.
