Pamela Rita Ross

Pamela R. Ross, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at the age of 72.

Pam was born on January 3, 1954, in Laurium, Michigan, the daughter of Ralph Alonzo Sandretto and Janet Elizabeth Dubé. She grew up in Waukegan, Illinois, and on September 22, 1989, she married the love of her life, Michael Ross.

Pam built a long and fulfilling career with the Gas Company, beginning as a meter reader and eventually retiring from the company’s marketing department. Throughout her career and in every part of her life, Pam brought her own unmistakable personality and sense of humor. Her humor was often described as “crazy” or “nuts,” and those who knew her would agree that there was never a dull moment when Pam was around. Joy and laughter seemed to follow her wherever she went, and she truly had a way of lighting up a room simply by walking into it.

Pam loved cooking and, most of all, spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing with and making memories with her grandchildren, as well as her niece and nephews.

Pam also had a deep and abiding Christian faith, which was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Mike; her daughters, Melanie (Walter) Johnson and Erinne (Kyle) Lehman; her grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Madelyne Johnson, Aidan Lehman, and Dylan Lehman; her siblings, David (Diana) Sandretto and Gina Rickerd; and her niece and nephews, Myles (Finn) Rickerd, Brooke (Matt) Dyer, and Trevor Rickerd.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private service will be held.
