Nicholas Ziccarelli

Nicholas “Nico” Ziccarelli, 44, of San Francisco, CA, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away after a long hospital stay in San Francisco on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Born on May 26, 1982, he was the son of Joseph and Gale (Morella) Ziccarelli. He attended local schools for elementary and junior high school. He then attended St. John’s Military Academy in Delafield, WI, and graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in 2000. He went on to earn a degree in Information Technology from DeVry Chicago.

He was employed with Tom Steyer for his 2020 campaign for Presidency as a Technology Ops Administrator. He was later employed as a Senior IT Support Specialist for Pantheon Systems Inc.

Nico moved to San Francisco, CA in 2014. He enjoyed listening to music and taking pictures.

He is survived by his loving mother, Gale Ziccarelli of Hawaii; brother, Louis Ziccarelli; son, Caden Ziccarrelli; and the mother of his son, Denise Wright.

Nico was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ziccarelli on November 20, 2002.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
