Kevin Edgar Murdie

Kevin Edgar Murdie, age 70, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2026.

Kevin was a hardworking and dependable man who spent his career as a tree trimmer and logger. He took pride in his work and was known as someone who could be counted on.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoyed golfing and fishing, making the most of time spent outdoors. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and was a natural jokester. His warm heart, kindness, and reliability touched the lives of many, and his laughter and good-natured spirit will be deeply missed.

Kevin was a faithful Catholic and cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Murdie; his children, Kevin Murdie Jr., Cheryl Murdie, Christina Murdie, and Brian Murdie; his siblings, Lisha Flinton, Vickie Snyder, Tim Murdie, Chris Murdie, Robert Murdie, and Danny Hansen; and his aunts, Donna Cullison and Phyllis Eggleson.

Kevin leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, humor, and love. He will be remembered for his warm heart, dependable nature, and the joy he brought to the people around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial gathering will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service commencing at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember and celebrate Kevin's life.
