Obituary

Jerry Marini, 82, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026.

He was born on August 12, 1944, the son of the late James and Evelyn (Serpe) Marini. Jerry grew up in Kenosha and attended area schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

On October 23, 1965, Jerry married the love of his life, Laurina Greco. Together, they shared more than 60 years of marriage, building a life filled with family, laughter, and countless memories.

Jerry loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and cribbage. Jerry loved to have fun and could always appreciate a good time with family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Laurina Marini; his children, Evelyn (John) Neugebauer, Jerry (Rebecca) Marini, and Donna (David) Marini-Koch; grandsons, Gregory, Christopher, Daniel, Domenic, Matthew, and Joseph; and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Proko Funeral Home from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 1919 54th St. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Those who wish to be part of the procession to the cemetery, please meet at Proko Funeral Home at 8:00 a.m.
