Emma CASALENA
Emma Casalena, 88, of Kenosha, died Tuesday, December 10th, 2002, at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Comunanza, Prov. of Ascoli Piceno, Italy, February 28, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Mariarosa (Tesorati) Travanti. She was educated in the schools of Italy before coming to Kenosha in 1962. On February 28, 1933, she married Francesco Casalena in Italy. He died March 28, 1987. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are three sons, Antonio "Tony" (Giuliana) of Kenosha, Alfredo (Kim) of Aurora, IL, Domenic (Ersilia) of Kenosha; one daughter, Lucy (Roy) Inclan of Kenosha; two brothers, Giovanni and Francesco Travanti, both of Italy; one sister, Caterina Perlich of Kenosha; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son; a daughter, Maria C. Schiavi, on October 1, 2000; three brothers and three sisters; and one grandson in infancy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
