Mike Brehm, 68, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Born in Racine, WI, on March 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Jean McClosky Brehm and Richard Earl Brehm, DDS. He attended St. James Catholic Grade School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School; he then attended the Midwest Broadcasting School in Chicago. Mike had been employed at both Snap on Tools and the Frost Company in Kenosha. A member of St. James Catholic Church, Mike was very proud to be a member of St. James Holy Name Society. A very religious man, attending mass daily, he had a great love of music, collecting many record albums of the 1960’s. Surviving are his special cousins and caretakers; Donna and Dennis White of Kenosha; step-mother, Adelle Brehm of Weslaco, TX; and his special friends, John Mohr and Bettye Horton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Richard and Cora McCloskey; and his paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Henry Brehm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 12th, at St. James Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. I met Mr. Brehm a few years back. He was the most pleasant, gentle man I have ever met. Rest in Peace Mr Brehm.
