Judyth Eileen Hockney
Judyth E. Hockney, 71, of Kenosha went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital. She was an only child born on April 27, 1945 in Atlantic, IA, to the late Donald and Arthadell (Harris) Peterson. On September 25, 1965, she was married to George G. Hockney and in 1972 moved to Kenosha, WI, with their three girls. She was a devoted follower of Jesus, blessing many throughout her life with her volunteer work in church and ministry, such as Awana, Christian Women’s Club, leading worship, administration, opening her home to Care Groups and her moving testimony. After retiring in 2009 from 31 years, as the Office Manager for Jay Bee Auto Body, she dedicated herself full time to New Song Ministries. Judy will be remembered by her loving husband of 50 years, George G. Hockney, her children; Rhonda Hockney, Tricia (Glen) Nelson, and Susan (Greg) Russell, as well as her grandchildren; Kayla, Bridget, Emilee, Zach, Nic, Luke, Molly and Riley. Funeral services honoring Judy will be held on Thursday, July 21st, at Crossway Church, 13905-75th Street, Bristol, WI 53104. Visitation will be held at 10am with a service at noon. We were so sorry to hear that Judy has passed away. I always considered her to be my favorite cousin and recollect many wonderful memories of the times that we spent at family celebrations and summers together at the family farm. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We were so saddened to hear of Judy's passing, but she is rejoicing in heaven today free of pain with her new body. My condolences go out to the entire family and friends of this wonderful woman. I only knew her a short time from church but didn't take long to realize how special she was...May she rest in peace in the savior's loving arms
