Mary Muto

Mary F. Muto, 94, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Manorcare Health Services-Kenosha. Born in Kenosha on January 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia (Savaglio) Muto. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. Mary had been employed in the office of the Italian American Club and retired from the office at Mary D. Bradford High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, especially going to Milwaukee and Chicago with her sisters to shop and attend plays and musicals. Over the years, Mary and her sisters accumulated significant funds for the benefit of their church and charities, all of whom will now receive the benefit of their generosity. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ralph and Frank in infancy and Michael Muto while serving in the armed forces during World War II; and two sisters, Rose Muto and Caroline Muto. I only met Mary once, but it was obvious that she was dedicated to her family. I worked with her Sister, Caroline for many years and she too was a very caring and gentle person. The Muto Sisters are to be applauded for their lives of quiet and dedicated generosity.
