Jennie Wisecup, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2016, with her loving family at her side. She was born on January 10, 1925, and was the daughter of the late John and Antoinetta (Bellini) Romano. On November 2, 1946, she married Richard G. Wisecup in Morton Grove, IL. He preceded her in death January 15, 1995. Our mom could often be found driving her 1973 red Javelin all around Kenosha. She and her car would catch any eye. They were both gorgeous! She had a smile that would light up a room. She loved stopping by to visit her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our mother was very proud of her five children and each of their accomplishments. Survivors include her two sons, Richard (Mary) Wisecup of Kenosha and Steven (Sally) Wisecup of Moorehead, NC; and three daughters, Lois Pade of Kenosha, Janet (Ron) Bruenning of Burlington and Barbara Tomaszewski also of Kenosha. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Angelo, Willie, Leo, and Frank; and two sisters, Yolanda Biddle and Vicky Taskonis. Loving all music, she enjoyed Saturday night with Lawrence Welk right up to the end of time with us. Good night! Sleep tight! Pleasant dreams to you! Here’s a wish, and a prayer that every dream comes true. And now, ‘til we meet again… The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Alliance for the wonderful care and compassion they provided. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1st, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.
