Milo J. Mika, 44, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Kenosha on March 24, 1972, he was the son of Daniel and Evelyn (Pike) Mika. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools. On February 26, 1993, he married Sherrie Mascari in Kenosha. Milo was currently employed as a kiln operator for National Gypsum in Waukegan, IL. He was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed fishing. Milo was also known as a major fan of the Chicago Bears. He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Mika of Kenosha; three children, Andrew Mika of Kenosha, Brittany Mika of Kenosha and Taylor Mika-Massie of Salem, WI; two grandchildren, Trinity Mika and Kiril Hawthorne; his parents, Daniel Mika of Kenosha and Evelyn Mika of Kenosha; and a brother, Randall Mika of Princeton, WI. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mariah Mohr.
