“When you die, that does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live.” – Stuart Scott Meghan Sybil Makouske died on May 31, 2016, surrounded by her family. She had a heart of gold, and a smile that would brighten your day. She was a devoted wife to Dan, wonderful daughter born on December 10, 1985, to Bill and Lori Brown, and a perfect friend. She aspired to be a PA, loved to volunteer for the Wisconsin Humane Society, and had a passion for traveling. She would like to be remembered for all the good days, and not for the struggles with her terminal illness. She will be sorely missed, and always remembered. There will be a picnic for the celebration of Meghan’s life on Sunday, June 26th, at the Brown residence in Pleasant Prairie, WI, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Casual attire, please! Contributions in memory of Meghan may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society, 4500 W. Although I never had the privilege of meeting Meghan...I'm sure she was as fun loving, kind and thoughtful a person as her mom! Every picture you've shared shows her with a big smile & just loving life. Sending my deepest sympathies to you & your family. Hugs! Randy & Cathy

Dear Lori and Bill, Our 5 years as your neighbor in River Oaks gave us the wonderful opportunity to have your Meghan and your family in our lives. She was the most adorable, kind, beautiful, loving child, even when we forgot to pick her up one time and she just waited on our front bench smiling and swinging her legs....in January.....we enjoyed her and our Monica in Madrigrals and in everything that our kids participated in. Thank you for sharing her with us. Much love to your family...from Kris and Larry, Eric (Earache), Monica and Karina
