Oswald T. “Ozzie” Mattner, 42, formerly of Kenosha, late of Wausau, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Born in Kenosha on June 15, 1973, he was the son of Albert and Judy (Steigman) Mattner and was educated in local schools. Ozzie was currently employed at Old Castle in Wausau. He was also skilled at and enjoyed cabinet making. Ozzie has always had a love of music and was a bass player in several bands in Kenosha. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Ozzie had a kind, giving heart and would do anything to help a friend. He loved to sketch and draw in his spare time and was quite talented. He loved his family and friends and he was greatly loved by them. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him. Survivors include his parents, Jon and Judy Campolo of Twin Lakes, WI; a brother, Jack (Lenay) Mattner of Kenosha; a sister, Hope (Steven) Box of Milton, WI; nieces and nephews, Hannah Mattner and Jon, Daniel Dalton and Miranda Box; and his fiancée, Jennifer Garazin of Wausau. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Oswald Mattner; a brother, William Mattner; maternal grandparents, Donald and Marion Rutchik; and paternal grandparents, Oswald and Josephine Mattner. Rest in Peace Cousin Ozzy. I am saddened that the Good Lord called you home ~ I am to remember I am blessed that he allowed me to call you one of my own. Sleep well, for you have many to tend to while you spread your wings. Aunt Judy, I am so very sorry for your loss.
