Esther Peterson-Morley, 90, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kenosha on May 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angeline (Calabrese) Costabile. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1943. On October 16, 1982 she married Thomas Morley at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Esther was formerly employed as a secretary with the Aviation Center at Gateway Technical College. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, the Parrish Mission Group, and was Past President of the Parrish Ladies Society and the Catholic Women’s Club. Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Kenosha; four children, Thomas Peterson of Kenosha, Gary Peterson of Kenosha, Kim Meldahl of Kenosha and Lynn Treptow of Fredonia; nine grandchildren, Amber, Heather and Grant Peterson, Jamie, Crystal, Daniel, Lauren and Lindsay Treptow, and Brieanna Meldahl; and four great-grandchildren, Mariella, Chace, Miles and Connor. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Silvio and Eugene Costabile; two sisters, Gerda Ziccarelli and Irma Deppong; a son-in-law, Charles F. Meldahl; and a grandson, Chuck J. Meldahl.
