Diane D. Kruk, 71, of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Hospice Alliance of Pleasant Prairie. She was born in Chicago, IL, on June 20, 1944, the daughter of the late Richard and Elisabeth (Hokenson) Fredricks. Diane was educated in the schools of Fox Lake. On September 3, 1966, she married John Kruk in Fox Lake, IL; he preceded her in death in May of 2014. Diane was employed by several florists in the area until her retirement. She loved spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren and great grand babies; she also enjoyed crafts, floral arranging and her pets. Surviving Diane are her daughters, Melissa (Scott) Baur of Trevor, WI, Kelly (Peter) Nydahl of Bristol, WI, and Heather (Richard) Yerkey of Franklin, WI; six grandchildren, Christopher, Lyssa, Amy, Kurtis, Ashley and Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Xavier, Andrew and Sophie; and a brother, Richard (Joan) Fredricks of Indian Lake Estates, FL. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, John; and a brother, Daniel Fredricks.
