McHenry Johnson, 70, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on April 16, 1945, in Helena, AR, the son of the late John and Carrie Mae (Gilsper) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Gail Grubbs on July 16, 1976; she preceded him in death in 2008. McHenry was employed at MacWhyte Industries for 25 years and later worked for Unified Solutions of Kenosha until his retirement in 2009. He loved playing football in college, watching the Chicago Bears, fishing, hunting and playing poker. Surviving McHenry is his son, McHenry G. (Sara) Johnson of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Mya, McHenry, Kamryn and Quinn; two brothers, Willie (Jean) of Kenosha, WI, Johnny (Elaine) of Racine, WI; a sister, Ora Wilson of Helena, AR; and his sister-in-law, Maddie Johnson of Saginaw, MI. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew and Elton; and his sister, Ruthie Carruth.
