Thomas R. Hughes, 56, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Campus. Born in Chicago, IL, on October 28, 1959, he was the son of the late Calvin and Elizabeth Hughes, Sr. He was educated in the schools of Illinois and moved to Kenosha in 2000. Tom worked various jobs throughout his life, most recently for a commercial cleaning service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, reading the newspaper, classic cars and rooting for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks. Survivors include his fiancé and love of his life, Kimberly Ann Towers and her daughter, Jasmine Towers, which he cared for as his own; a brother, Bradley (Linda) Hughes of Illinois; and a sister, Sandra of Illinois. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Hughes, Jr. and Jeff Hughes.
