Jerilyn “Jeri” Kruse, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born on November 16, 1941, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lorraine (Smith) Kruse. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Before her retirement, she was employed by the Social Security Administration. Jeri is survived by her sisters, Pat (Ron) Christensen and Kathy Kruse; nine nieces/nephews, Debbie (Mark) Greenwood, Becky (Mark) Zuehlsdorf, Dawn Christensen, Laurie O’Guin, John (Kaela) Emerson, Bob (Sue) Emerson, Amy (Don) Shilka, Tricia (Scott) Heeter and Jens (Ann) Emerson; and 21 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Emerson. A heartfelt thank you to doctors, Habel, Mariani, Bloom, and M. Engel, along with the exceptional nurses and CNA’s of the 8th floor at UHS-Kenosha Campus, for the care and kindness given to Jeri and her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 noon. Our sincere condolences to Jeri's Family.I worked with Jeri many years and she was one of them most pleasant and knowledgeable people you'd ever want to know. Her patience with everyone was amazing. The Good Lord surely has a special place for her in heaven.
