Kay Marie Mountain

Kay Marie Mountain, 72, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at her home. Born in Warren, OH, on February 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Peterson) Greening. Kay grew up in Warren, OH, and was educated in the local schools. She moved to Kenosha in 2009. In 1958, she married Alvin Deemer; he preceded her in death in 1967. Then in 1968, she married Terrence Mountain; he preceded her in death in 1989. Kay was employed as a housekeeper for several years with Holiday Inn, in both Florida and Ohio. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows on television and laying on the beach in warm weather. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include four children, Bob (Megan) Deemer of Lexington, KY, Dave (Kelly Dobek) Deemer of Port Clinton, OH, Tracey Fisher of Kenosha and Terry (Melissa) Mountain of Kenosha; a sister, Linda Grossbeck of Champion, OH; thirteen grandchildren, Misty Kay, Rebeca, Sarah, Richard, David, Tiffany, Robert, Nicole, Matt, Jeremy, Tee, Anastacia and Deena; and fourteen great-grandchildren, with a fifteenth on the way. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Bobby Grossbeck; two brothers, Jim and Richard; and a sister in infancy, Tammy.
