Emma G. Perez, 86, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Antonio, TX, on February 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Mariano and Juanita (Rangel) Gomez. Emma was educated in the schools of San Antonio. On March 13, 1949, she married Alvino Perez in San Antonio, TX; they moved to Wisconsin in 1959. Alvino preceded her in death on May 7, 2007. Emma was employed at Women and Children’s Horizons in Kenosha as a cook. She loved sewing, bingo and spending time with her family. She is survived by her eight children, Maria Ana Hernandez of Kenosha, Lidia (Pastor Guadalupe) Torres of Racine, Sylvia (Romeo) Olivares of Kenosha, David (Caroline) Perez of Kenosha, Alvino (Sally) Perez of Kenosha, Johnny (Jeannie) Perez of Kenosha, Sulema (Jesus) Gomez of Kenosha and Alicia (Eleodoro) Pacheco-Perez of East Point, MI; a beloved daughter-in-law, Josefina Perez of Kenosha; 34 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvino; a son, Jesus; and two grandchildren, Romeo Jr. and Guadalupe III.
