Steve’s family would like to thank Dr. Pisick and his team at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL, as well as Dr. Rocco, the hospice team and nurses at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave him. Every single memory of Steve is dominated by his quick smile and great sense of humor. Steve was a good man, with a loving heart. In years to come, I know that the kids will have their hearts filled with love, laughter and joyful memories of the man they get to call Dad.

Dear Erica and family, We are deeply saddened by the loss of such an amazing man... He faught a good fight and is no longer in pain, instead he is whole and pain free, watching over you. He is with you always, in the eyes and smiles and laughter of your 3 beautiful children. Continue the fight for the cure in his honor, share memories daily at the dinner table, laugh until you cry and then embrace each other and say a prayer to him and know that he will hear you. Remember always that you have a huge support system in your family and friends.... Reach out to us when you are ready... We will be there xoxoxo
