Gloria Maurer, 91, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at her son’s home. Born in Kenosha on June 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Regina (Troli) Camosy. On May 18, 1946, she married Richard Maurer who preceded her in death on January 8, 2002. Gloria’s passion in life was caring for her children and teaching everyone to cook. She leaves behind her three children, Art (Rita Chiappetta) Maurer of Pleasant Prairie, Joan (Patrick) Hansen of London TN, and Sue (Kevin) Armbruster of Milwaukee; her brother, Remo “Ray” (Louise) Camosy of Kenosha; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur, Raoul and Joseph Camosy. Gloria’s family would like to thank Season’s Hospice and their wonderful caregivers for all their help and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21st, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment at St. George Cemetery will be private.
