Florence Zarletti, 102, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at her home. Born in Montello, Italy, on March 29, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Cersia (Tonilio) Calzavara. She moved to Libertyville, IL, as a child and came to Kenosha in 1938. On December 26, 1942, she married Carlo Zarletti in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2009. Florence was employed at the A&P store in both Libertyville, IL, and in Kenosha, National Tea in Kenosha as well as Nash Motors Aircraft Division during WWII and M&V Laundromat. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. Florence loved to knit, crochet and make lamp shades Survivors include two daughters, Florence Delores Dillard of Birmingham, AL, and Katherine Heidersdorf of Paris, WI; two sisters, Louise Nagler of Fairview, NC, and Eleanor Sage of Libertyville, IL; one grandchild, Lynette DeBruin of Boise, ID; one great-grandchild, Brianna Ariel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters; five brothers; and also her sons-in-law, Wayne Dillard and William E. Heidersdorf. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24th, at Proko Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the prayer service at 11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
