Daniel J. Suehring, 53, of Kenosha, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 20, 2015. He was born in Kenosha on December 2, 1961, the son of Delbert and the late Sandra (Bailey) Suehring. Daniel was a graduate of Salem Central High. Following graduation he was enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed by Cordeck Sales in Kenosha and was a member of the Local 1 Iron Workers Union in Chicago. Dan was huge Green Bay Packer Fan; he enjoyed golfing, playing video games, fishing and working on his car. Surviving Dan are his father, Delbert (Brenda) Suerhring of Manchester, WI; three sisters, Jill (John) Larsen of Kenosha, Andrea (Robert) Roberts of Zion, IL, and Tammy (Lyn) Lurent of Pasadena, TX; a brother, Michael Suehring and family of North Carolina; his longtime girlfriend, Tamara Lucky of Kenosha; a step brother, Jerry Young of Mauston, WI; a step sister, Samantha (Scott) Talley of Mauston, WI; a nephew, John (Julie) Larsen of Kenosha; a great-nephew, Jesse Larsen of Kenosha; a granddaughter, Eva Madsen; and his loving K-9, Freedom. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Joseph “Little Joe” Suehring. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m., which will be followed by military honors.
