Donna Jean Thomas

1955 ∼ 2014

Donna Jean Thomas, 59, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born on April 14, 1955, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Milan and Dolores (Waldow) Thomas. Donna graduated from St. Joseph High School and had been employed for 18 years by the Law Office of Loren J. Keating, LLC, as a Legal Assistant. She was a devoted mother who diligently worked to raise her three children. A prior member of the Southport Quilters Guild, quilting was her spare time passion; no family member is without one or more of her artfully created pieces. A strong but quiet supporter of others, she always put their needs before her own. She will be sadly missed by her survivors: Parents, Milan and Dolores Thomas; daughters Cheryl Brown, Emily (Andy) Brzezinski; son, Alan Brown; sister, Linda (Ben) St. Louis; and three granddaughters, McKayla, Taylor and Clara. Also survived by nephew and nieces, Steven (Krista) St. Louis, Michelle St. Louis (Bill Angelo) and Kristine (Jason) Stolfi and five great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Donna’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

Emily, Alan, Cheryl - I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I've known her basically half my life, soon after she married Ozzie. She was Cody, my son's, godmother. I always enjoyed spending time with her; she had such a great sense of humor. Sue Taylor

My heart goes out to Donna's loved ones in their grief. Donna had a great sense of humor and I will miss her voice and the banter about various cases that my office and hers had together. She was such an outgoing and engaging individual who always made me laugh. She will be missed.

With great sadness for Donna's family I read of her passing this morning. Our lives crossed many many years ago when our kids were in preschool. I always loved her smile. She is a gentle soul who is now riding on the wings of an angel.
