Mary Ann Anderson

Mary Ann Anderson, 80, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December, 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ashland, WI, on February 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Lillian (Kaziukiewicz) Pero. She was a graduate of County Normal Vocational College with a Teaching Degree. She moved to Couderay, WI, for a teaching position where she met and fell in love with her husband of 55 years, Delmar Anderson. They were married on July 25, 1959, and moved to Kenosha, where she taught grade school and CCD classes at St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School for many years. A member of St. James Catholic Church, Mary Ann enjoyed gardening, baking, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed volunteering for the INNS program. Surviving Mary Ann are her husband, Delmar Anderson; her four children, Karen (Robert) Duczak, James (Donica) Anderson, Peter (Cheryl) Anderson and Janet (Keith) McCracken; and her eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22nd, from Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
