Darline Marie Soby, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2014, at Brookside Care Center. She was born in Toddville, IA, on October 2, 1922, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Eleanore (Hanix) Henak. She moved to Chicago in the 1930s and worked as a secretary for an ad agency. She met and married Leonard Stasch; they later divorced. She met John O’Reilly and they were married in 1958; John passed away in 1983. In 1984 she was married to Richard Soby; he preceded her in death in 1991. In 1991 she moved to Kenosha from Chicago and worked as a rental agent for Shagbark apartments for 25 years until her retirement in 2013. Darline enjoyed reading, old movies, plays and shopping. She will be remembered as always having class and style. Surviving Darline are her two sons, Gregory “Greg” (Roxanne) Stasch of Marshalltown, IA, and John (Marlene) O’Reilly of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Matt (Carrie) Stasch, David Stasch, Shaya Stasch, Diana (Brian) Rosik and Corey O’Reilly; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Lauren Stasch and Carson Rosik. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husbands, John O’Reilly and Richard Soby.
