Lila D. Beine, 90, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Born in Kenosha on March 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Harriet (Sampson) Schabel. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended Lincoln Elementary School, Lincoln Junior High School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1942. Lila was employed with American Motors Corporation for 20 years, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed reading, flowers and animals and also watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. Survivors include her two grandchildren, Bret (Amy) Beine and Laura Beine Blood; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
