We have known Irene since moving next door to her 22 years ago. She was a wonderful neighbor. She gardened quite a lot. She grew beautiful vegetables and flowers. She was generous with her vegetables and apples from her trees. Often time when we got home from work we would find vegetables on our back deck where she left them for us. My husband and son would blow the snow off of her driveway for several years after we moved in. We are a retired Navy family and have moved a lot and had many neighbors and I must say Irene was the best neighbor we ever had. We will miss her. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

I have only known Irene since my son Xavier was about 2 or 3 years old. But in that time she was a very sweet person and loved her family. She enjoyed having Xavier over when he would come visit. Me and Xavier will miss her dearly! Our condolences to the entire family!

Irene has been a part of our Tenuta family for a very long time. She is the Grandmother of my niece, Stace, and nephew, Frank. She is the toughest woman I have ever known with the most giving heart. She loved and adored every one of her grandchildren. They brought such joy into her life. She would light up with such happiness every time she talked about them. My deepest sympathy to all of Irene's family at this time of great heartache. May her memories live forever in our hearts.I will miss her fun and energy. It has been an honor to have her in our family.Rest in peace Irene.Love you always,Susan (Tenuta) DeZonia
