Emilia “Amelia” Carmine Wolfe, 91, formerly of Kenosha, late of Leesburg, FL, passes away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from Alzheimer’s/Dementia at the Savannah Manor Nursing Home of Leesburg, FL. Born in Kenosha on July 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Josippina (Bartucci) Pellegrino. She trained as a nurse at Michael Reese Hospital for Premature babies then worked at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan, IL, until she retired. On August 25, 1945, she married Harold B. Wolfe at the Holy Rosary Church in Kenosha, WI, and they operated a dairy farm in Zion, IL. In 1953 they moved to Bristol, WI, where they owned and operated a 131 acre Dairy farm until 1971 when her husband Harold died. In 1986 she moved to Orlando, FL, to join her two sons, Ronald B. and Donald H. Surviving are her two sons, Ronald B. (Margaret) of Leesburg, FL, and Donald H. of Deltona, FL; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilson, Anthony, Salvatore and Chester; and by two sisters, Angeline Pellegrino and Marie Surdo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
