Edna Mulder, 66, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 12, 1947, in the Panama Canal Zone to Jodi Garrett and Geneva Pilcher, she was adopted at the age of nine by Ackle and Edith Garrett and raised in Corinth, MS. Edna loved being a nurse and working for Rolling Hills Manor in Zion, IL, for 32 years. She is survived by her husband, Les Mulder; her three children, Bryan Yancey, Kim Foster and Chad (Jamie) Yancey; her eleven grandchildren; her mother, Geneva Pilcher; her brother, Mike (Judy) Garrett; her three sisters, Wanda (John) Byrd, Donna (Mike) Baird and Rhonda Elder; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jodi Garrett; her adopted parents, Ackle and Edith Garrett; a son, Jeff Yancey; and two brothers, Joe and Gaston Garrett. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Daisy Andaleon, Dr. Anshul Bamrolia, the oncology nursing staff at Vista Medical Center and Hospice Alliance for the compassionate and loving care they provided.
