Sandy M. Otto, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 25, 2014, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born in Milwaukee, WI, on April 2, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Harriette (Sitte) Hirt. Sandy was educated in the schools of Milwaukee and moved to Kenosha in 1978. On August 8, 1992, she married George Otto in Kenosha. Sandy enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and trips to the casino. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, George of Kenosha; four children, Debbie (Jeff) Sexton of Kenosha, Denise (Dave) Duffy of Kenosha, Deanna (Jerry) Springer of Kenosha and Dana (Russell) Marker of Zion, IL; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and David Fohr; and two brothers, Robert and Thomas Hirt. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, at Proko Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
