Alex, 93, of West Allis, formerly of Kenosha, was peacefully reunited with his Lord and Savior on Easter morning. Son of the late Jacob and Anna Resch, Alex joins his loving wife, Dorothy, leaving behind his daughters Barbara (John) Stang and Diane (Chuck) Cannistra, granddaughters Stephanie Stang and Elizabeth (Adam) Cecil, and grandson Alex Cannistra. Surviving siblings are Jacob, Marie, John, Ray and Alphonso (Jean). He was preceded in death by siblings Anne, Pauline, Kathrine, George and Margaret. Alex was a WWII veteran who served 6 years in the Coast Guard, a retiree from Snap-On Tools and longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Alex enjoyed working out at the YMCA, golfing, and fishing up North with his family. A special thank you to the skilled doctors and staff at Froedtert, the VA and St. Luke’s as well as to the compassionate staff at Zilber Family Hospice for their exceptional care. Dad loved life to the end. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity.
