Vanita Marie Price

Vanita Marie Price, 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2017, at Clare Bridge Senior Living Center in Kenosha. She was born on June 23, 1932, in Eagle River, WI, the daughter of the late Everett and Selma (Fett) Dotson. She resided in Eagle River until 1958 when she came to Kenosha to make her home. On August 23, 1958, she married James Price in Eagle River, WI. Vanita enjoyed bowling, singing, dancing, walking and most of all spending time with her family. Vanita is survived by her husband of 55 years, James; five children, William Price of Healy, AK, Daniel Price of Blue Springs, MO, David Price of Bemidji, MN, Robert (Pam) Price of Lake Ozark, MO, and Jenny (Brian) Perrault of Collierville, TN; eight grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Anna, Matthew, Jacob, Brianna, Jordan and Logan; a great-grandchild, Kiylah; two sisters, Marcia (Dave) Koss of MN, and Katie Capich of Arizona; a cousin, Jan (Bob) Benson of Addison, IL; and also many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Stan Bittenbender; three brothers, Russell (Kikue), Wally, Ken; and a cousin, Bobby Fett. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Clare Bridge Senior Living Center and Seasons Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21st, at Proko Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately in the spring at Eagle River Cemetery. Aunt Nita was such a wonderful person, she will always be remembered as one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I will never forget how loving she was with Rachel, when Rachel was a baby. Everyone who knew her was touched by her love of family. We are all lucky to have had her in our lives.
