Stanley R. Kuntz

Stanley R. Kuntz, 85, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Wynwood of Kenosha. Born in Detroit, MI, on September 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Fred and Ann (Brown) Kuntz. He was educated in the schools of Michigan and moved to Kenosha in 1965. On August 12, 1950, he married Ruth Kallio in Stambaugh, MI. She preceded him in death on August 9, 2012. Stanley was a carpenter and retired from State Construction in 1991. He was a member of the Ahmed Shrine Temple in Marquette, MI, was Past Worshipful Master of the Ewen Lodge in Ewen, MI, was past president of the Wisconsin Shriner’s Association, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 47 in Kenosha. Survivors include two sons, James (Mary) Dersnah of Kenosha and William (Gail) Dersnah of Townsend, WI; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Kuntz. Stanley’s family would like to thank the staff of Wynwood of Kenosha and Hospice Alliance for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave him. A memorial service will be held for Stanley at a later date.
