Donald J. Leuck
Donald J. Leuck, age 88, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at United Hospital Systems-Kenosha Campus. He was born on June 8, 1925, in Kenosha, son of the late Jacob and Katherine (Breiling) Leuck. Don graduated from Kenosha High School and obtained a bachelor's degree, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Loyola University and a PhD. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII and in June of 1951 he married Jeanette Kliwicky in Kenosha. He worked as an industrial engineer for a number of companies and retired from Western Publishing of Racine, WI, where he was a corporate engineer for 28 years. He was a member or St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, an active member within the Catholic churches, many civic organizations and VFW Post 2751. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and maintaining his yard. Surviving Don are his wife, Jeanette, one son, Mark (Rosanne) of Kenosha, two daughters, Mary (Edward) Minson of Whitefish Bay, WI and Theresa Leuck of Kenosha, three grandchildren: Vanessa (Ethan Popp) Leuck of New York City, NY, Matthew (Fiancee Nicole Mazzella) Leuck of Chicago, IL and Jeanette Minson of New York City, NY. He is further survived by many nieces especially, Kathy Nelson, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjorie Mauer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816-7th Avenue, Kenosha, WI, on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until time of the Mass. Entombment will be held privately at All Saints Mausoleum.
