Isabelle M. “Belle” Kaminski, 87, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. Born in Duluth, MN, on October 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helena (Sadler) Verbonse. She was educated in the schools of Duluth, Stowe Grade School and Morgan Park High School. She came to Kenosha in 1945 and then attended Gateway Technical College where she received a degree in Office Management. On June 29, 1946, she married Bernard R. Kaminski at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1971. Belle was employed with the Frost Company and retired from Laddish Tri-Clover in 1988. She was a former member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and currently of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She belonged to several different prayer groups and enjoyed knitting reading, gardening and traveling. Surviving are her twin sons, Paul Kaminski of Rapid River, MI, and Richard (Patricia) Kaminski of Kenosha; a sister, Delores Brothen of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Katie (Brett) Gomber, Jeanne (Rob) George, Kimberly Kaminski, Matthew Kaminski, Sr. and Kristin Kaminski; and eight great-grandchildren, Allyson Kaminski, Robert George, Jr., Peter George, Nicholas George, Jacob Kaminski, Allayna Kaminski, Matthew Kaminski, Jr. and Kaiden Ates. She was preceded in death by twin granddaughters, Nicole and Allyson; a grandson, Peter; two brothers, Victor and Sylvester; and three sisters, Catherine Jago, Antoinette Beane and Lydia Tamel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
