Antoinette Gullo, 92, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Rota Greca, Province of Cosenza, Italy, on February 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elisetta (Bosco) Mellone. She came to Kenosha in 1928 and was educated in local schools. On November 1, 1941, she married Ernest Perri; he preceded her in death in 1944. She then married James Gullo on July 5, 1952, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1991. Antoinette was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Surviving are a step son, Randall Gullo of Eau Claire, WI; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Perri of Lakeland, FL; eleven grandchildren, Troy Gullo, Tracy (Mark) Lewis, Kevin Gullo, Jason Gullo, Kendal (Holly) Gullo, Eilleen Lunsford, Allen (Cheri) Perri, Michael Perri, Matthew (Bethany) Perri, Linda (Brandon) Foss and Christine Perri; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Perri on September 4, 2004; a brother, Louis Mellone; and two sisters, Modesta Rua and Annunzia Ruffolo. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1st, at Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. To the Gullo Family, I am truly sorry to hear of your loss, I did not know her but Jeff her Nephew was always talking about her and helping her and I love that about him that he always was there for her, Jeff she is now an Angel smiling down on you she will never forget you.
