Alice A. Jacoby, 91, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at her residence. She was born on May 2, 1922, in Oconto, WI, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Varga) Sandor. In 1937 she married William Le May in Oconto, WI; he preceded her in death in December 1967. She then met Gerald Jacoby and they were married on June 23, 1972. He preceded her in death in July of 2012. Alice and William came to Kenosha in 1942. She later was employed by the Moriarity Company as a machinist where she retired. Surviving Alice are her four children, Francis Le May of Apache Junction, AZ, Richard Le May of Union Grove, WI, Eva (Floyd) Niesen of Bloomer, WI, and Barbara (Robert) Behringer of Athelstane, WI. She is further survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bill Le May; three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 12:00 noon. Family and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
