Janet M.Greco, 79, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born in Kenosha on May 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella (Maranelli) Madison. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On September 13, 1952, she married Ralph Greco at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Janet was an active and devoted member of Journey Church. She loved to read her bible. She had a huge passion for cooking, especially authentic Italian dishes. Janet’s recipe box was ten times the size of most cooks. When she was in good health she loved to cook for various events at the Church. She loved the Lord, the church and Pastor Dan Remus. Janet is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Greco; four children, James (Angelina) Greco, Jeff Greco, Lynn (Daniel) Kleutsch and Jeannie Ruffolo; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Kristi) Kleutsch Jr., Aaron Kleutsch, Jennifer Greco, Joseph Greco, Kelly Ruffolo, Christina Ruffolo and Michael Ruffolo; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Madison. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Neil Shepler and his staff and also the staff of St. Catherine’s Medical Center ICU for all the kind and compassionate care they gave Janet. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13th, at Journey Church, 10700-75th Street, Kenosha, at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private. I have many good memories of 'Auntie' Janet. She was a great friend to Mom, Dad and our whole family. My sympathy goes out to you. I will pray that GOD gives you comfort and peace during this time. I am sorry for your loss, she will be missed.
