Ronald B. Gemig
Ronald B. Gemig, of Kenosha, passed away on June 6, 2013, at the Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Maurer) Gemig. He was a lifetime resident of Kenosha, graduating from Tremper High School in 1968 and Gateway Technical College in 1969. Ron worked at Dynamatic, MacWhyte Wire Rope, Famco Machine, Wrought Washer, Abbott Laboratory, Dairyland Greyhound Park, St. Joseph Nursing Home and Brookside Care Center from which he retired. He also served six years in the Wisconsin National Guard. Ron enjoyed golfing, softball and participating in many other sports. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Ron is preceded in death by wife, Heather (Modica) in 2011; former spouse, Darlene Allen in 2011; and is survived by former spouse, June Knight-Gemig. Ron is survived by his two sons, Ronald (Lisa) Gemig of Pasco, WA, and Jeremy (Rositta) Gemig of Milwaukee; a brother, Ralph (Angela) Gemignani of Kenosha; a sister, Carole (James) Mills of The Villages, FL; and twin brother, Donald (Kathy) Gemig of Kenosha. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Madeline Gemig of Pasco, WA, and Dane and Isak Gemig of Milwaukee; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Wanda Stupey, James Hastings, and Kathy Tenuta and his many friends at the Lakeside Towers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Aurora Hospital staff as well as the Hospice House staff for the loving care that they provided Ron. Dear Uncle Ron, I would pray for you every single night and day praying for you to be Pain-free and feeling happy. I still pray for you every single night and day so you can be in peace and so i can talk to you.
