Jean C. Perozzo, 77, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Kenosha on September 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Siro P. and Mary T. (Nicolazzi) Sacco. She attended St. Mark’s Catholic School and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. On November 6, 1954, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Primo "Louis" Perozzo, in Kenosha. He preceded her in death October 18, 1999. Jean was a devout Catholic and lifetime member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church; she was very active with the Christian Women of the church. While her children Tom and Terese were in school she did endless hours of volunteer work, she attended all of her grandsons sporting events. Jean along with her husband owned and operated two Laundromats and a Tanning Salon, she was a hard worker. They enjoyed traveling especially to Europe and Florida. She was an exceptional cook and her love of family was very strong. Jean was an avid bowler and belonged to her Monday night league for many years. She also belonged to the Alpine Club with her husband who gave many hours to the building of the Club. She was on the bocce league for many years; she also was a member of the Kenosha Car Club. Jean will be deeply missed by her daughter Terese Sarckees, Kenosha, two grandsons, Michael Louis Sarckees, Kenosha and Myles David Orear, New York, her loving sister and close companion Ann (Milan) Stefancic; brother-in-law, Sergio Perozzo, sister-in-law, Dorothy Perozzo; nieces, Peggy (JR) Ankney, Maryann (Edward) Wu; nephews, Peter (Laura) Perozzo, Jimmy (Jill) Perozzo, also many great nephews, nieces, close cousins and other relatives. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas M. Perozzo, at the early age of 22; her parents, Mary and Siro Sacco; one brother, Richard Sacco; and a son-in-law, Michael R. Sarckees. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her caregiver Michelle who was an angel to our family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 15th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. I remember Jean as a nice and quiet person, always smiling and caring. I met her just once when she and her husband Primo came to Italy many years ago. I am Marcello Esposito, son of Lidia Minozzo who was Primo's cousin, living in Piedmont. I give a big loving hug to Primo, and my condolencies, also from my family and my father Edoardo.
