Clell M. McKinney, Jr., 85, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at ManorCare. Born on February 14, 1928, in Shelbyville, IN, he was the son of the late Clell and Minnie (Arnold) McKinney, Sr. He moved to Kenosha in 2011. He served in the United States Navy as a machinist from 1945 until he was honorably discharged in 1947. During World War II, he served in the Pacific on a Navy vessel named The Frigate. Clell was employed as a mechanic by Palmer Dodge in Indiana for over 20 years. Clell is survived by his four children, Clell M. (Cathy) McKinney III of Greenfield, IN, Kevin (Ann) McKinney of Kenosha, Michael McKinney of Indianapolis, IN, and Chris (Nicole) McKinney of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Avenail McKinney of West Virginia; and two nieces, Becky and Beth McKinney. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 27th, at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
