MaryAnn M. Loef, 73, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie with her children by her side. Born in Kenosha on June 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Toivo and Rose Marie (Kramer) Koski. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and attended local schools. On May 9, 1959, she married Dennis J. Loef at St. George Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2006. For over 20 years MaryAnn was an Economic Support Specialist for Kenosha County, retiring in 1991. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines, and horse racing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her three children, Kevin (Sue) Loef and Keith Loef, both of Kenosha, and Kristine (Tracy) Winters of Lake City, FL; a brother, Timothy Koski; her fourteen grandchildren, Katie, Anna, Lauren, Nichlas, Joey, Matt, Anthony, Benny, Maria, Jacob, Danielle, Vanessa, Zachary and Gabrielle; and three great-grandchildren, Whitney, Lauren and Ralynn. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Paul Koski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 7th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7307-40th Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. I remember Maryann from the many years working with her at the Job Center. She was my first Economic Support Worker when I was on AFDC. Her encouragement assisted me with my career path at the center. It has been an honor to have know her and my sympathy goes out to all.Kathy Marks
