Miranda Lee "Roo Roo" Wilson, 21, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Born in Kenosha on August 13, 1991, she was the daughter of Christine Marie (Erbst) Wilson and Jonathan Wilson. She was educated at Jane Vernon Elementary School, Bullen Middle School, and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She then went on to graduate from the Step Program. "Roo Roo" loved taking walks with her mother to the Dollar Store and watching Sesame Street. Surviving are her mother, Christine Wilson of Kenosha; her father, Jonathan Wilson of Sturtevant, WI; her six siblings, Debra Wilson of Kenosha, April Wilson of Racine, Aaron Wilson of Racine, David Wilson of Kenosha, Amber Erbst of Kenosha and Richard McGovern of Kenosha; maternal grandmother, Charlene (Willi) Salewski of Kenosha; paternal grandfather, Curtis (Joyce) Erlandson of Kenosha; paternal grandmothers, Jeanne Erlandson of Eau Claire, WI, and Joanne Wilson of Tucson, AZ; and also several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Sandra Trottier, for all the love and care she gave Miranda. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Erbst. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16th, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. I would like to extend my condolences to the family and friends of Miranda. It was just brought to my attention that she had passed. I work with and cared for Miranda at through the Step Program. She was a sweet girl. I am sad to hear of her passing. My prayers are with you all.
