Eunice Vera Breigenzer

Eunice Vera Breigenzer, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born on December 11, 1923, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Fredericks) Hendrickson. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On August 24, 1942, she married Xavier J. Breigenzer at St. Mark’s Catholic Church; he passed away on November 27, 1990. Eunice was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. In her younger years she had been a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, crocheting, camping and fishing, but she especially loved spending time with her family and all her grandchildren. Surviving Eunice are her four children, Dolores Bryant of Kokomo, IN, Ruth Ann Lenfestey of Kenosha, Loretta Hawley of Kenosha, and Mark J. (Debbie) Breigenzer of Kokomo, IN; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 20th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 7117-14th Avenue, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
