Bob Johnson, 72, of Kenosha, died peacefully surrounded by friends and family, at Hospice Alliance on Sunday, September 9, 2012. He was born October 26, 1939 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of the late Arnold W. Johnson and Mary (Etue) Johnson. Bob was raised in Kenosha and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. He joined the family business, Ken-Crete Products, as a young adult and retired in 2011 as Vice President of the company. He remained the President of a business he started, Concrete Express. Bob is survived by his wife, Lili ConJung Wang of Kenosha; his daughters, Lori Pipes of Eugene, Oregon and Kathy (Thomas) O’Connell of Sammamish, Washington and five grandchildren: Ryan Pipes, Matthew, Megan, Mitchell, and Myles O’Connell. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Johnson of Kenosha and Judith Johnson Crates of Santa Clara, California and six nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Andrew Daher. He loved fishing and he had a passion for animals, especially dogs. He was an avid sports fan, and he loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing. He liked to travel with friends and family and had vacation homes in Florida and Las Vegas. He enjoyed many longstanding, close friendships that he developed over his lifetime in Kenosha and these friends remained loyal to him until the end. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 15th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
