Eulis L. Oswalt

Eulis Oswalt, 92, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Hospitality Manor with his loving family at his side. Born in Fulton, MS, on September 17, 1919, he was the son of the late Warren and Callie Oswalt. In 1949 he came to Kenosha to make his home. He was educated in the schools of Mississippi. Eulis had served in the United States Army during World War II as a cook, until his honorable discharge. On November 8, 1947, he married Truma Beasley in Fulton, MS. He was an employee of American Motors/Chrysler Corp. until his retirement in 1982. After taking correspondence courses thru the mail, Eulis repaired televisions, which included house calls, while still working at American Motors. He attended Temple Baptist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed repairing T.V.’s, doing carpentry work, and was passionate about everything pertaining to the Green Bay Packers, especially watching the games. He loved spending time with his family and great-granddaughters. His greatest past time was just "Tinkering Around". Surviving are his wife, Truma of Kenosha; a daughter, Cindy (Randy) Brouwers of Union Grove, WI; two grandsons, Adam (Clarissa) Zekor of Kenosha and Nicholas Zekor of Kenosha; a sister, Pearlie Waddle of Fulton, MS; and his great-granddaughters, Brooke and Brynn Zekor. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Sincere Coldolences...I had often meant to write Eulis to express the appreciation for,as a young teenager, he would explain and help me fix things...items from A to Z ....also from rides Jr high to housing rental .. Eulis was a gifted knowledgeable individual and treasured devoted family man...God will/has blessed him.. as I have blessed thankful memories
